Hidden River offers personalized kayaking instruction classes in BCU and ACA formats. Please e-mail us for kayak instruction availability which will be offered on an individual basis. Our regularly scheduled kayak instruction classes include:

• Kayak Quick Start - A course for those new to kayaking (3-4 hours)
• Introduction to Kayaking - Basic strokes and skills (6 hours)
• Essentials of Kayak Touring - Travel safely and efficiently in your kayak (8 hours)
• Coastal Kayak Basic Strokes and Rescues - Safe travel and rescue (8 hours)

INDIVIDUAL KAYAK INSTRUCTION

Individual kayak instruction is enthusiastically offered at $40/hr - actually one of the best ways to ramp up your skills. There is a $25 fee per person for the cost of rental equipment, which includes a kayak, paddle and personal flotation device. You may request a private lesson by clicking here.
